In our family, everything begins at the table.
Food made slowly. Shared properly.
From our family table to yours
We grew up surrounded by the smells of slow cooking.
Sauces bubbling gently on the stove.
Hands moving instinctively, recipes never written down, just remembered.
Food was never rushed.
And it was never complicated for the sake of it.
It was honest.
Generous.
Italian.
That’s the way we still cook today.
Our Story
In Tavola was born between a father and a son.
In kitchens.
In long days that turned into nights.
In the quiet moments after service, when the food was finished but the stories were not.
My father has cooked his whole life.
Not chasing trends, not following rules written on paper.
Cooking by feel. By memory. By respect.
I grew up beside him.
Watching hands that moved without thinking.
Learning that good food doesn’t need to shout — it just needs to be honest.
Hospitality shaped us both.
It taught us patience, discipline, and care.
It taught us that food is never just food.
Today, we cook together.
The same way he always has.
The same way I learned.
Every dish we make carries something of us.
Our past. Our table. Our way of doing things.
Because In Tavola is not about perfection.
It’s about warmth.
It’s about sharing.
It’s about bringing a piece of home to someone else’s table.
Why we do what we do
Modern life is fast.
Good food shouldn’t have to be.
We created In Tavola to bring Italian home cooking into everyday life —
without shortcuts, without pretence, and without turning it into something it’s not.
Our dishes are made slowly, in small batches, using simple ingredients treated with care.
Because some flavours don’t need reinventing.
They just need to be done properly.
A different way to bring Italian food to the table
Most Italian meals come in trays.
Ours come in cans.
Our look-like cans are a deliberate choice.
They protect flavour, travel well, and stand out — without shouting.
They’re practical, familiar, and a little unexpected.
Just like the food inside.
It’s a small detail that makes a big difference.
And once you open one, you’ll understand why.
-
Cooked slowly
Nothing rushed. Ever.
-
Made by hand
Because it shows.
-
Done properly
No shortcuts. No noise.
